Technology is so awesome. And really, really helpful when it comes to fitness. There are about a ga-gillion fitness apps out there these days so we thought we'd suggest a few that we use. After all, we all need all the help we can get. :)
1. My Fitness Pal
If you like tracking things, like I do, they you will love My Fitness Pal. It's a simple way to track your calories in and calories out. Use it to list what you eat and how much you exercise. It will help you drop unwanted pounds by helping you realize how many calories are in your food and how much you need to exercise to maintain, gain, or loose. It's an awesome tool, but let's not get carried away. And please know, that you must eat to loose weight, starvation is a bad idea.
When I can't make it a class I like to use this trusty little app. It's like having an instructor in your ear. Treadmill workouts can be super boring, but they are a little more fun with this app.
This app is especially great if you like to workout outdoors. You can see what your friends are doing outside too. You can get competitive... or not.
This fun app takes you through workout that will help you meet your goals. I don't know about you but I can get tired of the same old thing... this is just the thing to help you mix it up.
5. Couch to 5K
Are you a beginner? This app will help you work your way to a 5K in just 9 weeks. All you need is an extra 30 minutes a day to meet your goals. We think this is a great tool for you aspiring Triathamoms out there!
